Join us for a night of wine and tech talk! We’ve gathered leaders in the audio/visual industry to discuss how women are taking charge in the male dominated field. This panel of experts will share their journey to get to where they are in the industry as well as the future state of audio/visual in business environments. …and featuring wine from a local woman-owned winery Elsom Cellars.

Laura Moorhead

Laura Moorhead

Laura Moorhead is the Vice President of Neurilink and is the former President and co-owner of Blue Sky Integrated Technologies, a design/build audio-visual system integration company in Seattle which was acquired by Neurilink in September 2017. Neurilink is focused on corporate, healthcare, government and educational markets in the Pacific Northwest. Neurilink is a member of InfoComm and Professional Systems Network International (PSNI) and was voted “Best Places to Work in AV” in 2016.

Laura began her career in AV working part-time while attending college. Now with over thirty years of experience in the industry, Laura has held positions in customer service, purchasing, operations management, administration, system design and sales. Her well-rounded background has enabled her to learn the industry from many aspects and provide her customers with outstanding service and support.

Laura works collaboratively with architects, project managers and space planners to incorporate new technologies into their client’s facilities. She is involved with client needs analysis, floor plan review, furniture recommendations, technology research, scope writing and detailed AV system design. Her work with organizations such as Boeing, Redfin, Fluke, Seattle University and Disney has provided Laura with a diverse set of experiences that enables her to deliver value to her clients.

Christy Kinney

Christy is the owner of Streamline Install. She has been in the audio visual and broad cast industry for over 22 years, and has a vast knowledge of many parts of the business. From wire pull, to bench work, to rack fabrication, to programming, to high end sales, to finance, to support; She’s seen it all. The things she loves about this industry are also the things that make it challenging. The tech world, and AV in general, evolves so quickly. It’s a fine balance of introducing current trends with known best practices. That’s where a team of experienced, smart, and critical thinkers makes the difference. “I can’t take credit for Streamline’s success on my own; I am fortunate enough to have a solid team that works as a comprehensive unit. Molly Montoya Glad

Molly Montoya has been in the technology industry since 1999. She started by selling projectors into the education vertical.  Before entering the technology industry, she worked as a primary teacher in Mexico City.  Her educator background, led to an easy transition as an interactive board trainer with Hitachi software and later Polyvision. During this time she led training programs in the 12 western US states with a specialty in helping dealers in Latin America train their customers.

Most Recently Molly has been with LG Electronics as the NW Enterprise Account Manager working with System Integrators to help end users with digital signage.
